Todays Targets and Directions where pretty accurate, S&P and Nasdaq long hit their first targets, lets see if DAX can hit 6656 target on monday as it is still on a long trend. Curde Oil traded down to 80.75 and then reversed so I would have to see on monday if the short trend continues, Euro on the other hand went long to its first target an is still bullish so maybe the rest of the targets can be hit on monday.

    Trading Plan: 60 Min Charts

I focused on the 60 Min Charts this week and what I learned that the closing price of the 60 min bars act as major support and resistance levels, so I will focus to get an entry at that prices. Whats also good about the 60 Min Charts that they provide a valid method to determine the trend for daytrading. Still I am looking for setups on the 10 Min Chart but I am aware that trend setups will only occur if the 60 Min Charts agree with the entries I am getting from the 10 Min Chart.

To avoid going long in downtrends I usually wait for the 2nd 60 min signal or a donchian channel that goes up...

Trading Plan: Risk Reward not just for setups but also for entries

    Review 4th Week of October

This week I traded the nasdaq instead of the S&P as there where many good trends (due to earnings news releases), the S&P however still serves as a guideline for other markets as often times when the S&P hits a target trends in other markets stop as well.

Speaking of targets the camarilla R3/4 and S3/4 pivots still are the best price levels to exit trades at the high or low of the day in case of very bullish days however I learned to exit long trades discretionary around 11.00 am or at the 4 pm close
For correction days exiting shorts at the prior day low was a good rule to follow.

Overall I learned that is far better to exit and even enter trades at camarilla levels rather than prior support and resistance levels that have been hand picked, however the closing price of swing highs and lows on the 60 min charts still serve as important levels for my analysis.

Trading Plan: Always short the more bearish instrument

Trading Plan: Re-Entry only with Low Risk Setup

Have a look at all 4 charts: Only FGBL and ES provided low risk trend continuation setups:

Looking at the 60 min charts, it also makes sense to enter instruments that just made a new setup like the pound.
