  1. Gooooood morning... :-)

What a start... right to new highs. Do you we can continue heading higher today? Or will we just test this and then sell off?

I don't have any views yet... trading new highs is a bit tricky for me. Never know how long we can go. :-)

    Have a great trading week!

  2. s&p already sold off, so looking for a consolidation (maybe a nice downtrend like on the 12th) before we make a nice uptrend later during the day, have a great trading week as well my friend!

  3. my target for the S&P is 1232, the typical W pattern on FDAX and ES will attract many swing traders

  4. if DAX is already at new swing high, maybe its wise to be long euro stocks 50 today, but we will see...
Do you sometimes trade the FESX coz it has much more volume than the dax?

  5. I've traded Eurostoxx50 couple of times, but don't like it that much. One point is worth very little and I don't see any reason to trade it. If I want to enter a smaller position, I just trade fewer DAX contracts. :-)

I don't know what to do with DAX right now. Trading new highs with my strategy is sometimes confusing. I mean it can work out greatly (even though I don't always know where to exactly put the upper target). But today I would have waited a down move first, but it was not possible (due to the fact that SP500 was up so much).

Now I'm just standing by and waiting to see what might happen. :-)

  6. Man.. I thought I already posted the answer. I guess it got lost.

So... don't like trading eurostoxx50 very much. One point is not worth much (meaning I would have to add more contracts, pay more commission - makes the same thing), so if I want to enter a smaller position, I just trade fewer DAX lots. :-)

Macro is choppy. DAX might turn around. We'll see.

  7. yes your right, the only thing thats tradeable at the moment is crude oil and EURUSD. Stock market Indicies will slowly roll over, still looking for a nice shorting opportunity...

  8. two good shorts scalp trades so far, one from 6330 and now the one from 6322, strange that I can not hold on to a short trades, as the retracements always take away 50% of your profit before the market continues short...

  9. /maybe it's me, but commenting part doesn't seem to be working today. I see them very delayed/

But I'm short for some time now. Noticed the macro turning around way before DAX, so I jumped on board. It's a bit smaller position than usually, but still considerable.

Will see how low we can come. If we hit 6290, then I'm probably out (unless we're very strong on coming down). But will act to any danger signal too (market is a bit tricky today).

  11. the 6.11 am spike made me go long but it looks like we can not go above 6238, so another move down might happen before the US open
