  1. I think we can go either way today. Will just have to pick up on price action.

6148 is an important level and so are 6125 and 6116. So if we break these levels, then it's likely we move further down.

On upside, 6170ish might be a resistance and certainly 6194. If we break that, then we can see higher prices.

At this point Macro looks to be favoring down moves, so we'll see.

    Cheers!

  2. I have a short signal, but usually wednesday morning we see a correction to thursday afternoons trading action.
Anyway I am short from 6155, maybe just scalping, but I would like to see a clear base before we can have a solid uptrend.

Cheers, btw how do you think about germany, we have currently this discussion if we should help greece and "safe" the euro, or if we should let them alone :-?

  3. What a volatility... unbelievable. :-)

Now about that Greece question... I think we should politely ask them to #&!¤ themselves. :-)
All those monetary helps (bailouts and such) are extremely stupid, which will eventually end the Euro and EU. If we bail out Greece, then there will be a long line of other countries who want to be bailed out too - Portugal, Italy, and roughly 10 more.

Besides if we promise to bail them out, then they (and all other countries) will be LESS careful with their actions (and policies). Meaning that they know that if they fcuk up, they will be bailed out. However, if there is no bailout money coming, then countries will not act stupidly and take those huge risks.

There's a lot of spending cuts Greece can make, but will not do because of political reasons.

  4. I have no clue how far we do down, if we break the 6105-6097 area my trading platform will be set on autopilot, it will get me out of my short position when the polygon moving average points up again.

I looked at daily charts last time we had such a large move down, the next day also provided 200+ points on the short side, so be happy having a short position till the close today (always carefull, but if no bulls come to the game then what could happen?)...

  5. Well the next very-very strong resistance is at 6003. We'll see what happens.

  6. Exited shorts - macro is turning around. We might see higher prices again (don't want to take the risk).

  7. I am long again, full bull power now :-)

  8. I have a small long position also, but I have potential Take-Profit and Stop-Loss set, since I will have to leave a bit early today. Such a pity... interesting day.

However I would be very happy to see 6003. If everything looks great at that level, then would like to open a large long position.

  9. on such countertrend trades I usually take profit at last swing highs (6073) then 6085
only if we can break above that level the next target is 6164 (unlikely)...

  10. I am still holding my long. We might still hit 6125 (where I would cash in).

But I don't know.. will exit on danger signal. I have no idea what might happen during US session. If the downside will continue, then we'll probably see 6003.

  11. Just exited the long. We could go higher, but I have to leave early today.

Been a great day - 102 points from the short and 75 points from long.

    Have a great one! :-)
