My plan for today was to go long on a double bottom or short on a break of yesterdays low.
Since prices only went down in the morning to prior days close to fill the gap and then right back up it was clear to me that we will have a choppy day today. In such cases I mostly do discretionary scalping using the ART trading system as you can see on attached screen shots.
Setup Rules:
- Don't take short signals if the 34 ema is not below the 200 ema, avoided the two signals after 4.30 am.
- Trail short stop when we have a close below prior days low
